Adaptive Open Climb @ Quartzite Classic

from $25.00

Saturday, October 10th, 2026 | 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
A day of top-rope climbing, rappelling, and camaraderie on Devils Lake’s East Bluff for folks whose physical disabilities or limitations make it difficult to participate in other clinics. The instructor team is stacked with supportive, experienced instructors ready to offer personalized assistance. Additional support provided includes: assistance accessing the climbing area through a drive-up access permit and vehicle shuttle, specialized harnesses that provide support for all mobility levels, other specialized equipment that allows for a more comfortable climbing experience, and personalized additional support as needed.

Clinic participants will complete a questionnaire upon registration to help determine the assistance they need to have a comfortable day climbing outside, and the instructor team will coordinate a plan for success.

Equipment: Personal mobility equipment, closed-toed hiking shoes (if applicable), lunch/calories, hydration, and appropriate climbing clothing are required. We can provide personal climbing equipment (harness, helmet, climbing shoes, belay device) for those who do not own their own, but we encourage you to bring yours if you do, it will fit better and be more comfortable!

Prerequisites: No prior experience necessary

We operate this clinic on a sliding scale from $25 to $125 to ensure financial barriers do not prevent folks from participating. Please choose the tier that best reflects your financial situation and supports a diverse climbing community.

***Participants must be registered for the Quartzite Classic Festival to join this course. This trip will not run if fewer than 5 participants enroll***
