Our Partners

Local & National Organizations We Collaborate With

We work with high-quality organizations to support the local community and offer greater value to our clients. Devils Lake Climbing Guides enjoys partnerships with the following organizations:

Arc’teryx makes some of the highest quality outdoor apparel money can buy, and they do it while supporting local athletes, guide services, and advocates. Arc’Teryx Twin Cities and Chicago store locations have supported our staff and clients by providing equipment for our staff and collaborating on custom events.

Arc’Teryx does a great job supporting local people and events that make a difference in the climbing community. In particular, Arc’Teryx has been instrumental in efforts to help BIPOC folks get involved in climbing, like through supporting the AAC Twin Cities efforts and through supporting the fine folks at Chicago Adventure Therapy.

Boulders Climbing Gym is a full-service climbing gym in Madison, WI, that offers two locations to provide roped climbing and bouldering for the local community. We love offering trips for Boulders Youth Climbing Team members and have even enjoyed some days out with Boulder’s staff.

Our friends at Boulders play an important role as our rainy day back-up plan for various programs. We’re grateful to Boulders staff for frequently working quickly to accommodate our Teen Climbing Camp, Adventure Day Camp, or technical SPI training courses.

Heartwood Tree Company

Heartwood provides arborist services in the Madison area. They are experts in tree care, tree planting, stump removal, and tree diseases.

Each year, we team up with Heartwood for an annual Arbor Day tree planting event at Devil’s Lake State Park. Heartwood orders and transports all the trees, and brings all the expertise to plant them - we couldn’t pull it off without them!

Screen Door PrintinG

Screen Door is a custom screen printing and design shop in the heart of Madison, WI. Dorla and her team have printed almost every item of DLCG logowear since our early days. These kind folks have gone out of their way to get us out of a pickle more than once, and the quality of the print work is excellent

Ski-Hi is a family-run business that has been selling fruit, handmade pies, and other goodies for over one hundred years. They’re located just outside the park, off Route 12, so we love sending our clients to Ski-Hi for a treat on their way out of the park.

Ski-Hi is a key partner for us in supporting Teen Climbing Camp. They generously provide us with a convenient and accessible pick-up location with plenty of parking (plus easy access to snacks for the drive home from camp!). In addition, they’ve shared some space with us for storing camp gear, making transitions between sessions immensely easier and more convenient.

Skillet Creek Campground

Located just minutes from Devil’s Lake, Skillet Creek Campground provides fantastic amenities and numerous camping options: tent sites, RV/electric sites, and cabins.

We’re proud to host several of our annual events at Skillet Creek. Each May, we take over a large section of the campground for our Women’s Climbing Weekend, and we do the same each October for The AAC’s Devil’s Lake Craggin’ Classic.

Summit Strength & Fitness provides a top-notch training facility for climbers and athletes to take down their goals. Not sure where to start? They offer lessons and classes with climbing fitness professionals to help get you where you want to go. Summit is a unique facility that features bouldering routes and a huge array of other training tools.

We’ve enjoyed teaming up with Summit for clinics at the Devil’s Lake Craggin’ Classic, and we also offer trips for their youth climbing team members.
