Join other folks who did not grow up with the internet for a day of top-rope climbing, community, and camaraderie. Instructors will set up a variety of routes for participants to climb. Participants will learn to belay, if needed, and spend the day climbing and building community.
Equipment: Everything is included, but we encourage participants to bring their own personal gear (harness, helmet, climbing shoes, belay device) along if they have it. It will fit better and be more comfortable.
Prerequisites: No prior experience necessary. You must be at least 50 years old to participate in this clinic.
We operate this clinic on a sliding scale from $25 to $125 to ensure financial barriers do not prevent folks from participating. Please choose the tier that best reflects your financial situation and supports a diverse climbing community.
***Participants must be registered for the Quartzite Classic Festival to join this course. This trip will not run if fewer than 5 participants enroll***
