When learning how to climb or developing proficiency, clinics often focus on technical skills, such as gear placement, movement, and anchor building. But tonight we’re diving into the often overlooked but indispensable component of community, and how the people you climb with can shape your outdoor recreation experience in the moment, and for years to come.
Join Rhiannon, DLCG instructor and psychotherapist here in Madison, on June 20th to talk about the importance of finding the right climbing crew for you. She’ll review stress responses, their effects and how to manage them, and the effects of your belaytionship, and how to manage that too.
