Zachary Lovely
I grew up in the great metro Detroit area, but now live in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. I am a relative latecomer to the outdoor and climbing world, but have not looked back since starting on this incredible path. Only after living in western Nebraska and moving to Chicago did my love for all things outdoors flourish. I like to say you are never too old to try something completely new.
By day I work in the CPG (consumer packaged goods) industry as a manager of demand planning, but in my free time you will find me climbing, hiking, backpacking or doing some sort of outdoor activity with my family. As long as I am outside, it's a good day.
While Devils Lake is by far my favorite place to climb, I have traveled all over the country. Some highlights include St. George, UT; the Tetons of WY; Zion National Park, UT; The Red River Gorge, KY; and Munising, MI. All are wonderful places with unique qualities.
