Nora Lindsay-Reilly
My climbing journey started in 7th grade on a trip to California. There, I was introduced to climbing through youth programming at a local climbing gym, and I immediately fell in love. Back home, I lived in Appleton, WI where, for years, the closest gym was at least two hours away. Thankfully, in time, a gym opened near me (shout-out Odyssey climbing!), and I became a frequent client.
I quickly grew passionate about improving my climbing abilities while getting involved with the amazing community the gym creates. This new passion led me to attend DLCG’s Teen Climbing Camp, where I experienced the beauty and the thrill of climbing outdoors. As an avid hiker and swimmer, the experience was a dream. I made so many connections and grew both as a climber and a person. Soon after, I joined a climbing team at my high school where I found camaraderie and came to see climbing as a sport rather than just a hobby.
When I'm not exploring the beautiful bluffs of Devil's Lake, I am a college student at Oberlin College & Conservatory in Ohio studying politics and music. There, I work at the rock climbing wall, sing in a choir, and craft with friends!
