Hello Adventure Rock climbers! Want to climb outdoors at Devils Lake this season?
Devils Lake Climbing Guides, in partnership with Adventure Rock, is offering an exclusive outdoor rock climbing trip opportunity for Adventure Rock adult members. These are full-day, outdoor top-rope rock climbing trips at Devil’s Lake State Park, fully guided and operated by Devils Lake Climbing Guides, available exclusively for Adventure Rock members ages 18+.
Camping opportunities are also available for those who would like to extend the experience. See options at checkout.
Agenda
DLCG instructors will:
provide equipment harnesses, helmets, and climbing shoes for anyone who needs them
set up anchors and ropes
provide instruction as needed on belaying, climbing technique, knots, technical topics, Leave No Trace, and more

Prerequisites
Some climbing experience is helpful, but no prior outdoor experience needed. If you have never climbed before, consider taking Climbing 101 at Adventure Rock in advance so you can show up confident and competent in your belays skills.
Bring
Closed-toed hiking shoes
Backpack (20-30 liters)
Lunch/snacks
2 liters of water
Layers appropriate for the weather
Sunscreen/bug spray
Climbing helmet / harness / shoes / chalk (if you don’t have them, we can provide)
Camping
Camping is available Friday and/or Saturday evenings at Devil’s Lake State Park for Adventure Rock members and their family. The cost is $20/night per person. Be sure to add the option before checking out. Campsite number will be shared upon enrollment. Camping equipment is not included.
How to enroll
Do not use the “Quantity” field to sign up multiple people. Add one person to cart at a time!
Select your climbing date from the drop down menu and click “enroll” to enter the participant’s name.
Use the back button to navigate back to this page if adding more climbers or campers. Repeat step 1 for each climber.
Select your camping date from the drop down menu and click “purchase” to enter the camper’s name.
Use the back button to navigate back to this page if adding more climbers or campers.
Once you’ve selected all your options, click the Cart icon to view your cart, confirm your order, and process your payment.
We will then send full confirmation materials via email.

***This trip has a minimum enrollment of 10 participants. If it fails to reach this minimum, we will cancel the event and you will receive a full refund.***
