Wisconsin State Parks are Free on June 2nd!

Next Sunday, June 2nd, is State Parks Open House Day, which means all state park vehicle admission sticker fees and all state trail pass fees on all department owned properties are waived! This means you save $7 (WI plates) or $10 (out-of-state plates) on daily admission fees. What better reason to come out to Devil's Lake for rock climbing, hiking, swimming, boating, or general relaxation and merriment?

Furthermore, the entire weekend of June 1-2 is also Free Fishing weekend in Wisconsin, so you can fish at Devil's Lake, Mirror Lake, or on the Wisconsin River without a license for the weekend.

Love that the DNR does this at the beginning of the summer to motivate folks to get out and enjoy our Parks early in the season. With any luck, more folks will get addicted to being outside!
