Rock I

Full Days from $105/person

If you have never climbed before or need a refresher, start here. Rock I introduces you to the world of rock climbing with an emphasis on safety, learning, and fun. We’ll start out on moderate, low-angle rock to help you get the feel for vertical movement, then progress at your pace to similar or more difficult routes. Our goal is to help you understand the basics of vertical rock climbing so you can feel comfortable climbing at a local gym, tagging along with friends, or joining us for move advanced climbing trips.

Rock II

Full Days from $99/person

If you’ve climbed before and you know the basics, this trip takes you towards the next level of comfort and competency. We’ll work on advancing your climbing technique, cognitive approach, and movement efficiency on routes of varied difficulty and character, opening up lots of opportunities for learning and improvement. At the end of the day, we’re confident you'll have more fun, with less fear, each time you rope up.

If you're ready to go climbing, Devils Lake Climbing Guides is ready to make it happen. We run Devils Lake climbing trips and courses seven days a week, weather permitting, April through November. If the daily high is at least 50F, then it's warm enough to go rock climbing in Wisconsin!
